YMCA Awards are the leading awarding body for fitness qualifications in the UK. Developed over the last 20 years to give you all the skills and attributes you need, we believe this is the most comprehensive, established and respected qualification available for our learners.

The Gym Instructor certificate option allows you to progress from no fitness qualifications to fully qualified gym instructor in 1-3 months. With no prerequisites for the course this is the perfect option for those who want to start a new career in the gym environment before potentially progressing onto the Personal Trainer course.
